Record the Right Customer Stop Every Time

Being confident that your employees are driving for business is the first step, but it's only part of the story. For many organizations, knowing exactly which customer an employee visited is an important part of measuring the revenue impact of a rep's time spent in the field.

Accurate stop data helps teams measure productivity, track SLAs, tie customer visits to revenue, understand time spent at each stop, and keep a closer eye on real business-required operating costs.

When employees visit multiple customers in the same shopping center, office complex, or campus, GPS alone can’t always identify the right location. That can lead to inaccurate reporting, extra manual corrections for drivers, and less confidence in the data administrators rely on every day.

That’s why Cardata lets drivers find nearby stops in the Cardata Mobile app.

What’s the Feature?

Drivers can use "Find Nearby Stop" to edit the start or end location of a trip directly within the Cardata Mobile app.

Instead of searching for the correct location themselves, drivers see a list of nearby company saved stops based on where the original stop was recorded.

For example, a sales representative may park in the same spot at a shopping center every week, but visit different customers within the complex. If GPS associates the trip with the wrong customer, the driver can simply tap "Find Nearby Stop" and select the correct location from the list.

This feature makes it quick and easy to update the start or end location of a trip by choosing from nearby saved locations, helping ensure every customer visit is recorded accurately.

Why Does It Matter?

Many field teams visit multiple customers in places where addresses overlap or parking lots are shared.

Without an easy way to correct trip locations, GPS data doesn’t always reflect the customer that was actually visited. That creates extra work for drivers, reduces confidence in reporting, and makes it harder for managers to understand activity or confirm SLA requirements have been met.

This gives drivers a simple way to associate every visit with the right customer account. The result is cleaner, more reliable data that administrators and business leaders can trust when measuring field activity and making operational decisions.

How Does It Help You Do Your Job?

Accurate customer stop information supports much more than mileage tracking.

By making it easy to correct trip locations, "Find Nearby Stop" helps organizations better understand where employees spend their time and which customers they’re serving. That leads to more accurate customer visit reporting, better productivity insights, and greater visibility into field operations.

More accurate stop data also improves downstream reporting. Administrators can allocate mileage to the right cost centers, better understand time spent at customer locations, support SLA reporting, and feel confident reimbursements reflect business driving.

Drivers benefit too. Instead of struggling to edit trip locations or leaving inaccurate data behind, they can make a quick correction with a single tap and get back to their day.

Better Data Starts With Better Stops

Small corrections can make a big difference in the quality of your reporting.

With the ability to select a nearby stop, drivers can quickly record the correct customer location, giving administrators more reliable data for reporting, reimbursement, and operational decision-making. The result is a simpler experience for drivers and more confidence in the information your organization relies on every day.
